I Feel terribly that Tigger past away (and I’m terribly sorry if I got the wrong impression and he/she is not dead at all!) But this photo seems to exspress the emotions of when a loved one passes away, and the thoughts of if they are alright now, and what really happens after they die. I loved my dog Seamus and he passed away 2 years ago. I still think of him often and i cannot describe the impact he had on my life.

I’ve been a fan of your site for years, so it’s strange that my first comment to you is on such a tragic occasion. My sincere condolences to you, Derek, and Chieka on Tigger’s untimely death. I can only imagine what combination of sorrow/horror/rage you’re probably feeling by imagining my own reaction if something were to happen to my baby daughter.
Peace be unto you.

Your outpouring of love over the last few days has been remarkable. Thank you for all of your kind condolences. Tigger was a one of a kind canine companion and we miss him terribly.
We’re taking a few days off, getting away and offline. I’ll post new photos when we return.
Again, thank you.
