My least favourite kind of feedback comes from people complaining about my RSS or Atom feeds. This last paragraph, from a recent exchange, is typical:
“…So you would need to refer to the image in your notes & comments
section to publish the picture as part of your feed. Apparently though
that is not your aim – it is a shame though, making us lazy people
have to click on your website whenever something sounds intriguing.
Don’t fight the technology too much – it doesn’t have a pecker you can
threaten, and it just might leave you behind… :-)”
Come the end of August, I will celebrate the ten years of personal publishing online. Be warned, I intend to outlive all you fuckers.
Gmail. Gmail. Gmail. In what seems to be a never ending quest, I’m looking for 5 hardy souls willing to liberate me of these Gmail invites that plague me. Yes, they could be ignored, but I want to distribute what the Gmail gods dispense. Contact me with your first and last name. Alas, they are gone, but given the way that Google is handing the invites like candy, there may be more.
