If you think Julie Jackson is the bees knees, you’re going to love, love, love her book Subversive Cross Stitch, to be published at the end of March by Chronicle.
Don’t fret — you can order the book through her site for early, prepublishing shipping. Beat the Amazon rush and be the first to adorn you cubicle wall with “You Can’t Make Me”.
A reminder that it’s the last few days of the Threadless secret sale. Buy at least 3, enter the code “tenbucks87″ at checkout and you’ll get them for $10 each.
Who knew that a small dog could make her way into the duvet cover rather than under it? That her small size would allow for her to squeeze between the buttons of the opening? Her escape (or attempt) had a brief nod to traditional sci-fi motif of an alien hatched within, attempting to burst through the surface. Otherwise, our Chieka is fine post bedding ordeal. I’ll try not to worry when I’m away at work that she’ll repeat her adventure.
