Derek and I share a film box that contains all kinds of loot for the various cameras that we own. I recently grabbed The World’s Oldest Roll of Film ™ from the depths and the results are crap. The crappiest crapola. It was some store brand from a southern Californian chain that hasn’t been in existence in forever, but I’ve fallen in love with this photo and one other that I’m sure confused the hell out of my negative scanner. “What eez zees crahp?” (I don’t know why I think my Nikon Coolscan V has a French accent, but it does).
