Lemonade

angrigami

I admire those who can turn the ugly into something beautiful. zefrank has just done that with Angrigami:

from52to48withlove generated wonderful, heartfelt and poignant responses in the form of pictures, comments and emails. However, as it became more widely circulated, it also provoked intense anger and outrage….

Why don’t you download, fold and make something out of those lemons?

Found an an old Zip disk labeled "digital pix volume one – 09/96 – 11/96". Thanks Jasmeet for the Zip drive. I twittered something about it awhile ago and he was kind enough to bring one along to the Photojojo Photo Safari yesterday. Casio QV-10A

Not counting chickens

A taxi cab driver in Birmingham berated me last week for traveling abroad. What was I doing in the UK when I should be at home voting?

It’s hard to believe that in just over twenty-four hours, we’ll know the answer to the thing closest to life, the universe and everything. I don’t know how, but I’ve developed into quite the superstitious adult. I won’t walk under ladders, stir with a knife, and I’ll toss spilled salt over my shoulder. That’s why tonight, I’m not counting chicken (despite desperately wanting to do so).

If you’re voting in California tomorrow, please consider voting “no” on 8. It’s unfair and wrong.

Video Tip: Steady On

Shooting watchable video can sometimes be challenging when you’re using a small digital camera. They weigh so little that it can be difficult to keep a steady hand for the duration. I’ve taken to putting the camera down or, bracing my hand against a wall or some other immovable object. It can mean that you’re limiting your point of view, but in the end the results are worth it.
