Video Tip: Steady On

Shooting watchable video can sometimes be challenging when you’re using a small digital camera. They weigh so little that it can be difficult to keep a steady hand for the duration. I’ve taken to putting the camera down or, bracing my hand against a wall or some other immovable object. It can mean that you’re limiting your point of view, but in the end the results are worth it.

I have no words. Other than magnificent. Brava!

I’m terrible about shaking video so this is good advice for me…

I love that your videos are very much like your photographs, controlled but still fluid and spontaneous.

Tottenham Court Road tube up escalators?

There’s a dance company, DV8, who did a show in, around and on top of Tate Modern. Part of it involved the two storey escalator, with the audience on the middle floor and the dancers completely still within the movement around them. Mesmerising.
