Polaroid 366: the end

365 (ice)    366 (snow)

Funny that the year I decided to take on a Polaroid a day project, is the year that the company announces that they’re going to cease production of their instant film — boo!

Present at Creation

Well, I took my 366th photograph in -20° celsius temperature last week while visiting my sister and her family in Ottawa for New Years. It was a far cry from the pleasant weather and the Air Stream that ushered in 2008.

You can see my complete set of Polaroid 366 here.

Just had to *bravo* you here too — what a gorgeous, gorgeous set. I’d love to see how you hang/display them. Or maybe is a book in the works?

Amazing work, Heather! I have really enjoyed following the series. And it must be so nice to see that set of 366 sitting there in your flickr stream now. What’s next?

I hope there is a book at the end of this rainbow. Amazing work!

Yes… a book is definitely in order. A superb series, Heather.

If there’s one person who inspires me to do photography as part of daily life, it’s you.

Here’s another vote for that book.
