So endearing To me, this doesn’t look like present-day Derek. It looks like Derek a couple decades from now, as if your camera did a little time traveling. Fun! Esthetically, this image is gorgeous. The super-contrasty whites and blacks are yummy, the lighting reveals all the subtle geography of his face, and I’m a huge fan of grain. The curvy wisps of hair add a finishing softness to the dominant angularity, like piped icing on a cake.
