Issue No. 10 of JPG Magazine will be hitting the stands shortly and it’s brilliant. I’ll resist the temptation to say it’s the best ever because I think that all 10 issues have been wonderful. It will also be the last I will be involved with.
8020 has decided to rewrite the history of how JPG came into being, removing the original six issues from the site, and any mention of Derek and I.
George and I chose the Cypress Lawn cemetary in Colma for our adventure in Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. This was my fifth year participating (though the first year that I sat on and broke my mobile). Here are links to my contributions: “Cypress Lawn, Colma” (2007), “Merry-go-round” (2006), “Strand Theatre, Market Street” (2005), “Paul, Cole Valley Dog Park” (2004), and “Derek and Pod at Ocean Beach” (2003).
I suppose I could have found better use for the time that I’ve recouped not having to travel down to the mothership each weekday morning. Like going to the gym, but frankly, I’m bored with going nowhere on an elliptical trainer. No, my new love? Hot rollers.

It would appear that the good people chez Fark have selected one of my photographs for the basis of a photoshopping contest. I could get all screachy given that my Creative Commons license is being violated six ways to Sunday, but I think I have a turnip’s chance of having any resolution with the farkers. Alas, there are no permalinks to individual submissions so you’ll have to scroll through the good, the bad and the downright ugly.
